Fazeel S. Khan

Fazeel S. Khan has been practicing law for over 15 years and has an AV Preeminent rating with Martindale Hubbell for highest level of professional excellence. He engages in litigation in both federal and state courts, primarily practicing in the area of employment law. He is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) and represents employees in all employment-related matters, including wrongful terminations, discrimination and harassment claims, leave and accommodation issues, wage claims, matters involving violation of constitutional rights, and negotiating employment contracts and separation agreements. He also advises employers on compliance issues, including developing workplace policies and employee handbooks.  

Mr. Khan also practices consumer law, representing clients in various consumer matters including Consumer Sales Practice Act (CSPA) claims, and is an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association on consumer matters. He also practices administrative law, representing clients before a number of administrative agencies, including Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, Department of Education, State Medical Board of Ohio, State Personnel Board of Review. Mr. Khan is also a member of the American Diabetes Association’s (ADA) Advocacy Attorney Network, through which he represents employees with diabetes requiring reasonable accommodations at work and students with diabetes in establishing accommodation plans at school. He also assists faith-based non-profit organizations in governance and administrative affairs and has litigated cases concerning such matters up to the Ohio Supreme Court.

Mr. Khan is a speaker on the areas of law in which he practices, having presented at NELA’s annual convention and at the Ohio Association of Realtors' (OAR) annual conference on topics related to anti-discrimination laws. He is actively involved in various community organizations, including: Secretary of Lahore Ahmadiyya Islamic Society; Secretary of Horizon Prison Initiative; President of Interfaith Center for Peace; Board Member of Port Columbus Interfaith Services; Board of Trustee of ADA-Ohio; U.S. Attorney Advisor to Forensic Linguistics Society. He also has a passion for theology and comparative religious studies, is a world traveler, and is an avid hockey fan and player.
